Holy Covenant's worship is a blended worship style. The music is made up of any combination of hymns, choral anthems, praise band music, and hand bells. We find that we embody the unity of Jesus Christ by not segregating ourselves based on musical preference, but by worshipping through a variety of musical expressions.
Holy Communion is typically served on the first Sunday of the month. Holy Covenant serves Communion through the method of intinction, the act of dipping the consecrated bread into the consecrated juice thus taking both elements of Communion simultaneously. As United Methodists, we practice an open table, which means that all people are welcome to come and eat the bread, and drink from (or dip into) the cup.
Every week, (except the first Sunday of the month) communion is offered in the chapel, after the 8:30am worship.
Holy Covenant offers a number of special seasonal worship opportunities. Information on these services can be found of the Calendar and News page.
There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available each week during the worship services. If you are interested in becoming a Sunday morning greeter, worship usher, scripture reader, or participating in any of the music groups, please contact the church office at 281-579-1200.
