Souper Bowl of Caring - is a national movement of youth working to fight hunger and poverty in their own communities around the time of the super bowl game. Participating is so simple. On Super Bowl Sunday, the youth take up a collection, asking for a dollar or food item for people in need. 100% of the donation goes directly to our local hunger-relief charity of choice, Katy Christian Ministries. Last year the youth raised $985. Please help us reach our goal of $1000 this year as representatives from our youth ministry will be stationed outside the sanctuary this Sunday, February 5th before and between morning worship services. This is a comprehensive four week class covering the job search, filling out on-line applications, revising your resume and cover letter, making job fairs work for you, and fine tuning your interview skills. 24 HOURS THAT CHANGED THE WORLD  - During the Lenten season, Holy Covenant will begin a church-wide study of Adam Hamilton's book, 24 Hours that Changed the World. No single event in human history has received more attention than the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus. Adam Hamilton's book guides us, step by step, through the last 24 hours of Jesus' life. Several of the Sunday school classes will be studying this book and there will be a Pastor led class in the Sanctuary each Sunday starting on February 26th.
