Caring
The Care Ministry at Holy Covenant offers many opportunities to help the members of our own church and outreach to our community.
Prayer Teams do just that, pray. They pray for our members and our communities on a regular basis.
Stephens Ministers are trained to give one-on-one confidential help as needed.
Grief Support Group meets weekly to be present with those suffering with grief and loss. This group meets Mondays at 7pm.
Funeral Guild helps our loved ones deal with a very difficult situation.
Covenant Saints provide meals, rides, hospital visits, minor repairs or wherever we are needed by our members.
Sandwich Club is a support group for people who are helping to take care of their parents or other loved ones. The group meets monthly and has speakers that offer information on issues pertaining to elder care. The Sandwich Club meets at LaMadeline's on the last Monday of each month at 7:00pm.
Who do I tell if I need care? If you are struggling, we invite you to contact one of our pastors, who will be happy to visit with you. You may contact them by phone at the church office (281-579-1200), or by e-mail.
How can I get involved in the Care Ministry?
Due to the confidential nature of care ministry, we invite you to call the Church Office for more information about how to become involved. We always welcome helping hearts and hands. |
